Who can Sign up as Jobseekers?
Anyone who is looking for a Job for few hours a day/week at their own convenience can Sign up with Jobtara. Generally, the demand has been more from Retired People, Students, Job-Shifters who have free time in-between Jobs and Women at home.

Is there any fee to Sign up as Jobseeker?
There shall be no subscription charges for Jobseekers.

What are the details required to Sign up as a Jobseeker?
Your basic information like Name, Contact Details, Current Employment Status are required to Signup as Jobseeker. The rest of your information regarding Education, Work Experience, Skills, Work Preferences, etc can be updated after the registration is completed.

How do I know if I am registered?
Once the basic information is filled in the Signup screen, an authentication email will be sent to the email ID provided by you. The email will have a link to be clicked by you to authenticate your email ID. Once this is done, your registration is complete.

I am unable to login into Jobtara as I do not remember my Password? What should I do?
No problem. You can click the Forgot my Password in the Login Screen. A new window will open for you to reconfirm your Primary Email ID. The new password will be sent to your Primary Email ID.

Will I be able to change my Primary Email ID entered during the Signup Process?
Yes, you will be able to change your Primary Email ID given during the Signup Process. Please login and go to the Personal Details section under My Profile and click on the text ‘Change Primary Email ID’ placed under your existing Email ID. This will allow you to change the Primary Email ID. Once you have changed the Primary Email ID, an Authentication email will be sent to your new Email ID.

Where do I post my Profile as Jobseeker?
Once you have authenticated your email after sign-up, you may login and enter all the other details like your Education, Work Experience, Skills, Work Preferences, etc.

Will I be able to update my Profile details later after completing the Registration Process?
Yes. You can complete updating your Profile anytime as per your convenience after completing the Registration Process.

Will I be able to edit the Data entered by me, whenever necessary?
Yes. You can modify all Data provided by you at your convenience, anytime you require.

Why should I key in all my Profile Details when I have my resume ready with me?
JobTara has devised a mechanism to match the Job Openings posted by Employers and the Profile of JobSeekers. The system is primarily based on Specialization and Skills. Hence it is necessary for Jobseeker to enter their profile in the format prescribed by Jobtara. This not only makes it easier for Jobtara to match the Employer requirements but also makes it easier for Employer to view the Jobseeker’s profile.

Will my complete profile be visible to all?
No. All details except your Contact Information will be available for registered employers upon Login. Your Contact Information shall be disclosed only when the Employer selects you as a candidate for their requirement.

Should I login to Search Jobs?
No. You do not have to Login to search for Jobs. Login is required to view the Details of the Employer, To Shortlist the Jobs or Apply for the Jobs.

Jobs can be viewed through various options available in the Home Page. Search Jobs allows you to filter the Jobs based on your criteria. Listed Jobs can be viewed in the I am a Jobseeker segment in the Home Page. In this section you have options to filter Jobs based on Job Title, City and Category. In addition to this, in the bottom half of the Home Page, Jobs listed from various Industries are grouped. You may select the Industry of your choice and see the Jobs listed in that Industry. If your preferred Industry is not listed in the Home Page, you may click on the Browse all Industries link.

What are Popular Industries in the Home Page?
Jobs listed from Employers in various Industries are grouped in the Home Page. The requirement of the Employers from a Industry decides the popularity of the Job requirements. This grouping of jobs under each Industry makes it easier for Jobseeker to choose the Industry of his choice and preference easily.

What is Browse all Industries?
This is an option provided to the Jobseeker to view the jobs listed in various Industries. The most popular are already displayed in the Home Page. If your preferred Industry is not listed in the Home Page, you may click on the Browse all Industries link.

I will be preoccupied for few days and do not want to be considered for any Jobs by Jobtara. What should I do?
Login to Jobtara and in the Dashboard you will find Availability Status on the top right of the screen. Click on the Update button and mention the Date till which you will not be available for selection. Till such date, your Profile will not be considered for selection of Jobs. When smart search is done to match the requirements of Employers and the Profile of Jobseekers, your profile will not be considered. But you may login to Jobtara and search/applying for Jobs whenever you want.

Can I Search and Apply for a Job in Jobtara or wait for Job Notification from the Portal?
Jobtara will match the requirement of Employer with your Profile whenever any Job is posted by the Employer. The matching is primarily done based on the Specialization. It may be possible that you may be capable of carrying out a particular Job but would not have possibly included as your specialization. It is also possible that the Employer might have categorized that job under a different Specialization. Hence, Jobtara recommends Jobseekers to periodically search for Jobs from the various search options available in the Portal to find a suitable Job for them. This provides the Jobseeker more probability in finding a suitable Job.

Does Jobtara guarantee a Job for me?
Jobtara does not Guarantee a Job for the Jobseeker. It creates a platform for Jobseekers to exhibit their Profile to Prospective Employers who need people to carry out their Jobs/Assignments which are short duration in nature. The job placement depends purely on Market demand and the Specialization/Skills required by the Employer and offered by the Jobseeker.

How can I shortlist jobs?
You will be able to Shortlist Jobs only after you login as Jobseeker. There are various search options in the Home Page and in the Top Banner to Search Jobs. Once you identify a job from the List of Jobs, you can shortlist the Job by clicking on the Shortlist Button.

Where can I view the Jobs that I shortlisted?
Once your login as Jobseeker is complete, you will find a menu option called Jobs Shortlisted in the side menu of the Dashboard. Here you can view all the Jobs that you have shortlisted.

Where can I find the Job offers received from Employers?
When an employer offers a Job to you, an email will be sent to your registered Email ID notifying you the Job and the Employer Details. In addition to this you can also find a menu option called Job Offers Received in the side menu of the Dashboard. Here you can view all the Job offers received by you from Employers.

Where can I view the Jobs I have applied?
All the jobs that you have applied can be found in the menu option called Jobs Applied in the side menu of your Dashboard.

Where can I view all the Jobs I have accepted?
All the jobs that you have accepted can be found in the menu option called Jobs Accepted in the side menu of your Dashboard.

What does Profile Views mean?
Profile view lets you know how many Employers have viewed your Profile.

Should I have to pay Jobtara anything when I get a Job from an Employer?
No. You do not have to pay any charges or fees to Jobtara for any Jobs received from Employer through Jobtara.

Where should I put my charges for the Services provided by me?
All commercial terms shall be discussed and finalized between you and the Employer, offline. The reason why we have not provided an option is to avoid any underquoting or overquoting. This increases the chances of being shortlisted for a Job.

How is a Job finalized?
When an Employer shortlists or selects a Candidate, he will have access to the Contact Details of the Jobseeker. The Employer will then contact the Jobseeker directly via email or telephone and discuss the details of the Job and the offer. When an employer selects a Jobseeker, the Jobseeker also receives an email with the contact details of the Employer. The Jobseeker may also get in touch with the Employer and initiate the Finalization process. All job offers will be finalized, offline, privately between the Employer and Jobseeker. Jobtara does not have any say or influence on the terms and offer.

Does Jobtara guarantee the Payment from the Employer?
All job offers and its terms are finalized between the Employer and the Jobseeker, offline. Jobtara is not responsible for any of the party not honouring any of their commitments as per the terms agreed by both. Jobtara does not guarantee the payment from the Employer or guarantee that the work shall be completed by the Jobseeker.

What should I do after I accept a Job from an Employer?
Once you accept a Job from an Employer and finalize the terms, offline, you should login to Jobtara and update the status in the Job Accepted menu in the Dashboard.

What should I do after I complete my assignment given by an Employer?
Once you complete your assignment given by an Employer, you need to login to Jobtara and Rate the Employer and enter your Review. This will help other Jobseekers know more about this Employer.

What are Ratings and Reviews?
Ratings and Reviews is the segment where you can Rate the Employer and enter your Review. This will help other Jobseekers know more about this Employer.

What are Overall Ratings Received?
Ratings are given by Employers to the Jobseeker, upon completion of a Job. The overall ratings received is the consolidated ratings based on the number of Employers who rated, and the ratings provided by them to the Jobseeker.

What are Overall Ratings Given?
The overall ratings given is the consolidated ratings given by you to the Employer who gave you the Job.

Where can I change my password?
You can change your password by clicking on the Change Password menu option on the Dashboard.
